Sacramento Weavers and Spinners Guild
As a member of the Sacramento Weavers and Spinners Guild I have had the good fortune to meet a lot of fiber enthusiasts and learn more about spinning, weaving and fiber. Alpaca fiber is truely the "Fiber of the Gods". I love spinning and when I have spun yarn from my very own sheared Alpaca and then turned that yarn into a product, I feel very accomplished. Alpacas are fiber animals, it is great to buy and sell them, it is great to be a breeder of the finest Alpacas in the land, but these are fiber animals and the fiber should be used and marketed and cherished. I love being a member of the Guild and sharing my knowledge of Alpacas, as well as learning about all the other wonderful fiber available to spin or weave or felt.
